I watched this last night on Terrarium TV (***See note below) -- To cut right to the point, it isn't what I imagined it would be. I recently read the Comic version and was expecting a different storyline completely than what the Movie has given out. That's not to say I didn't enjoy or like the movie, but it was completely unexpected. Actually, to be frank I was a little shocked at the outcome! (I won't spoiler anything in-case there are those who have yet to watch this. . .).
The movie was enjoyable overall, the characters were well written, good dialogue, enjoyable action sequences with/without injuries, there are a few parts that are predictable. Steampunk/Victorian styled gear/accessories and vehicles, glimpses of other characters popular to the current/regular batman universe(?), familiar characters and faces.
Something I noticed, is the way that it ends... Makes it feel like there should be another movie to follow in it's tracks, lacks background information on some characters, as noted above it has an unexpected twist to it and doesn't follow the comic, seemed a little rushed? Or perhaps that was just how I felt.
What about everyone else who has watched it? What did you think and feel about it? Try to keep spoilers noted in the proper manner.
*** To get Terrarium's application, you will have to go directly through their website, not the application you find in the ANDROID store. This does NOT work on iOS/Apple.
Terrarium : terrairumtvs.com
Follow their instructions, works great and very easily. They have movies, TV Shows, Anime and even Foreign Films.
Note: I use Samsung Galaxy s5.
** However, I am testing an Ipad format of this, similar, not all the same shows. Once I figure out if it's worth the effort, I'll post it as well.
Note: I have a 2017 5th Gen Apple Ipad. ->>> Updated 02.04.2018, Movie Box works wonderfully on the Ipad. I'm sad I can't get my DBZ Super on it though, but I can get a ton of movies and TV shows.
